THE NEED:

PLEASURE & JOY - we all seek it, crave it, need it. Without it our life would be dull, boring and outright unbearable! Without it in one form or another one falls quickly into a state of DEPRESSION . Even here in this great country of ours which has every conceivable material good, service or amusement available with which to satisfy the body and mind, depression and anxiety is still far too prevalent - for they now rank as the number one subject sought out in search engines today!!!
Pleasure and joy are two of the most POWERFUL tools at our IMMEDIATE disposal with which to enhance our IMMUNE SYSTEM, to HEAL ourselves on multiple levels (physically, mentally and emotionally), to lengthen our lives and even to facilitate progress on our spiritual paths. 'Pleasure-cise' is the term that most succinctly and accurately describes both the essence as well as the technique, methodology or process of a most exquisite and delicious approach to MOVEMENT WITH AWARENESS and INTUITIVE EXERCISE that may well revolutionize and rewrite the book on exercise forever! Finally a well deserved end to the strain and struggle of the "no pain - no gain" approach to exercise which serves more to keep the physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists in business than it does to promote wellness, especially with all the injuries caused by overzealous or inattentive exercising or stretching.
This unique program of 'Pleasurecise' (or Ecstacise) we will show you various methods and techniques for generating and tuning in to these pleasurable feelings, sensations and emotions in the body or mind during MOVEMENT - such as 'intuitive stretching', 'unwinding', 'contract-relax', 'contract-extract', 'movement meditation', 'sensation meditation', 'exercises of attention ', 'auto-massage' and 'milking the muscles' for the ENDORPHINE EFFECT. Endorphines and enkephalines are the body's own natural opiates or feel good chemicals. You may not know this but your body is a veritable pharmaceutical factory. And if you treat it good and nurture it right it can literally become your own private BLISS FACTORY! Both science and modern medicine have established the fact that with each and every thought and emotion, our brain and body is unceasingly churning out extremely powerful chemicals and drugs. Fortunately or unfortunately, these chemicals can be either beneficial or harmful, depending on the type of thoughts and emotions you harbor. The more negative or stressful the thought or emotion, the more toxic the chemical we produce. Likewise the more positive the thinking or feeling, the more beneficial is the chemical's effect. Why not use the power of our 'body-mind' to create pleasure, joy, blissful feelings and sensations instead of the usual self destructive ones we create by our fears, worries, insecurities and other negative thinking? YOU have the power and the choice to do so. You only need to exercise it.

ALL IS GOOD IF WE CAN SEE IT

Ironically, despite the fact that depression and unhappiness is so rampant in our world, the potential for pleasure and joy is nevertheless present EVERYWHERE and is present ALL THE TIME if only we would cultivate the awareness of mind to PERCEIVE it and allow ourselves the freedom to enjoy it without guilt or judgement! In fact, joy and bliss are primary attributes ascribed to higher states of consciousness, or to anyone tuned in enough to connect with it. REMEMBER - pleasure occurs in your BRAIN.. That's right, not in your body, but your brain! More specifically, in the PLEASURE CENTER of the hypothalamus. Also, we must also realize and REMEMBER that happiness occurs in the MIND - therefore happiness IS a STATE OF MIND. A state of mind that, once you catch onto it, you can carry it with you EVERYWHERE you go, despite the outward appearance of things!
Now 'mind', being non-physical, means it is as yet some undefined form of energy, consciousness, intelligence, or 'spirit' if you will. Interestingly enough, 'SPIRIT' is translated as BREATH in not only the Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek and Latin of Biblical scriptures, but also in Sanskrit of the sacred texts of India! Even more inspiring (no pun intended) is the fact that the words 'INSPIRE' and 'INSPIRATION' literally means 'in the spirit' or 'filled with spirit'. This is very important to understand and remember if one is to be able to successfully practice the alchemical art of transforming any negative thought, emotion, feeling or experience (no matter how difficult or stressful it may appear to be) into a positive, beneficial, productive or even pleasurable one using the techniques demonstrated herein.

Practically everything can be pleasurable to some degree if we take the time to be aware of it and to cultivate the sensitivity to perceive it as such. It's really all about AWARENESS. Take the most common activity of all - breathing. Have you ever stopped to notice or to experience just how pleasurable just BREATHING can be? Every single breath is a simple but profound delight. Just stop breathing for a minute and you will quickly appreciate your breath! And there are, at an average of 12 breathes per minute, some 17,280 of these little delights to enjoy each and every day of your life. For starters, just stop and be aware of your breath as many times as you can think of it throughout the day. You'll be very surprised at the immediate effects and benefits of doing just that alone - from the immediate relaxation to the increased mental clarity and physical energy to the sheer pleasurable feelings or sensations it can generate! Try it and SEE!

The MONKEY MIND DIALOGUES

The problem is, we're so caught up in our internal 'monkey mind' dialogues of day-dreaming, worries, fantasies and other countless mental distractions that we're just too pre-occupied to stop and take notice of a single pleasurable BREATH, or many other daily simple pleasures for that matter! Our own BREATH , along with our ability to RELAX, is the key to the full enjoyment of pleasure, health and enlightenment. Teachers & sages throughout the ages have always utilized various techniques to facilitate awareness of the breath, knowing that it is the most powerful tool of all for awakening and becoming conscious! One of the most powerful and helpful tools to help one TUNE IN & FOCUS upon the breath (or any other positive thought or goal) are called BREATH BEADS or BIOFEEDBACK BEADS.

A SEE OF PLEASURE

Other activities of daily living whose more pleasurable aspects usually go unnoticed for the most part due to our habitual lack of awareness are eating, drinking, resting, bathing, exercising, movement, resting, touching, reading, sitting, stretching, walking, conversing, gardening, etc., etc. Even urinating and bowel movements have a certain amount of pleasure upon release - especially when you really need to go! Have you ever allowed yourself to experience the exquisite and delicious sensations generated by satisfying a much needed scratching of an itch? Especially if done SLOWLY and with FULL AWARENESS. That's the key! What about the more subtle pleasurable components of a sneeze or a hiccup or a burp. Essentially, any release of any form of pressure or tension will bring relief and some degree of the relaxation response - which can be pleasurable if you tune in. It's there, if your pre-conditioned notions do not block it out first. The list of pleasurable sensations and experiences available to us is endless if we apply our ATTENTION and INTEND to perceive and experience them! This program will show you the easiest ways to do just that.


KEY #3:

WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY & DREAM:

But what exactly is 'reality' anyway? Since we all ultimately create our own reality, there is virtually as many realities out there as there are people! Its all about CHOICE and FREE WILL. Each one of us is free to choose which reality they wish to subscribe to - whether its heaven on earth or hell on earth! Or more specifically, which interpretation of reality they wish to subscribe to. First and foremost, both heaven and hell are 'states of mind'. Even if there is a 'heaven' outside of one's self, it is clear that one will never be able to access it until one can access the heaven within first!!! Upon this all great religions and master teachers agree, from Jesus to Buddha to Ghandi to Confucious to Lao Tsu, etc., etc. "As you think, so you are" says the Biblical scripture. "The kingdom is HERE and NOW" and "the kingdom is WITHIN" says Jesus. "If it is not WITHIN you, it is not the Tao", says Confucious. "There is nothing you need to achieve, just open your eyes", says Buddha.

We are truly marvelous, magical and mysterious beings who have the incredible ability to co-create our own realities and dreams each and every day - with each and every BELIEF, THOUGHT and ACTION. The point is, practically everything either already has some component of pleasure HIDDEN within it, or else it can be TRANSFORMED into some pleasure or benefit if we know how.
